The Outward Bound Trust
Volkswagen Group has partnered with The Outward Bound Trust to develop our apprentices with the key concepts of collaboration, teamwork, and customer service.
Outward Bound is a week-long residential program aimed at fostering the key behaviors related to the customer-centric approach of the Volkswagen Group. During this week, the apprentices engage in various tasks designed to enhance confidence, multitasking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, all aimed at improving their impact on customer satisfaction at work. This program has shown excellent results in the past, with analysis indicating that 85% of our apprentices have improved their customer awareness, while over 95% have seen improvements in their self-confidence and teamwork capabilities.
